The taxi driving qualification test is the first gateway to driving a taxi! Are you hesitating because you don’t have a taxi license?
You can get a job at Kakao T Blue even without a taxi driving qualification! In other words, did you know that you can get a job just by having a driver’s license?
This is because Kakao T Blue operates a ‘temporary driver qualification system’ that allows you to drive a Kakao T Blue member taxi for 3 months even if you are not qualified to drive a taxi!
Even after 3 months, you must obtain a taxi license to operate as a full-time Kakao T Blue crew member!
For prospective Kakao T Blue crew members who are about to take the taxi test, we will introduce in detail the taxi driving qualification test acquisition process, test subjects, and passing criteria!
According to Article 24, Paragraph 2 of the Passenger Transport Service Act, the taxi driving qualification is a national qualification, and you must take and pass the ‘Taxi Driving Qualification Test’ administered by the Korea Transportation Safety Authority to be validly awarded the qualification.

The subjects of the taxi driving qualification test are a total of four subjects: traffic and passenger transport business laws, safe driving tips, transportation services, and geography. You will be tested on a total of 80 questions, 20 from each subject!
The acceptance criteria
To pass, you must score at least 48 out of 80 questions, or 60 out of 100.
Eligibility
You must be 20 years of age or older and have had a Class 2 or higher driver’s license for more than a year to take the taxi driving qualification test.
