1. Search the vehicle price on the Automobile 365 site
First of all, you need to access the site called Cars 365.
At first glance, the name sounds like a used car trading site, but in fact it is managed by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Korea Transportation Safety Authority.
■ Go to the Car 365 site: www.car365.go.kr
▼ As shown below, click and enter the car 365 part in the middle of the main page.
▼ When you hover the mouse over the third <Used Car Sales>, the screen changes.
▼ Click <View Details> to enter.
▼ Scroll down and click <Details> in the <Used Car Registration Fee> tab to enter.
▼ A screen like the one below appears, but since our goal is to figure out the vehicle value, we do not enter it in the upper part.
▼ This will open an additional window as shown below. Now you need a vehicle registration certificate to inquire the vehicle value. You need to enter <Vehicle Name> and <Type Number> in <Market Value Inquiry>, and this information is on the vehicle registration certificate.
▼ If you look at the vehicle registration certificate below, enter the vehicle name in number 4 and the format in number 5 in the blank space above. Sometimes, the model number is entered as the specification management number (model approval number) at the bottom of the vehicle registration certificate, but in this case, it is not searched.
You only need to use the information in circles 4 and 5 above.
▼ Fill in the information on vehicle registration number 4 and 5 as shown below and search with the magnifying glass button on the right. The format does not need to include the year, just the letter in front.
▼ As shown below, the standard price (vehicle price) inquiry of the vehicle is completed.
However, sometimes special vehicles or rare vehicles cannot be searched because the vehicle name and model number are not accurate. In this case, you can follow the two methods below.
2. Find in the 2020 vehicle market price table
The way to search in the blank above is to find it from the data called <Market Value of Vehicle>. Therefore, if you receive the <vehicle market price standard amount> data released annually by the government and search it one by one, it is bound to come out.
