서울 우먼업The Seoul Woman Up Project is for experienced women whose economic activities have been interrupted due to pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare at an age when they should be working.
I would like to work again as a project to support the re-employment and return to society of “women in their 30s and 40s”, but I do not have the courage to work again after a long absence.
For women who do not have jobs, we provide job-seeking subsidies, internships, and employment incentives to help women find jobs that suit them and provide practical training.
It is a system that supports economic activities.
A total of 2,500 unemployed and non-start-up women between the ages of 30 and 49 living in Seoul will receive 300,000 won per month for three months to use in job search activities.

The Woman Up Internship is a project that helps people regain confidence that has been lost due to a long gap and develop employment capabilities through work experience in a growing industry and job. This year, the system discovers a variety of jobs that allow work-life balance, such as telecommuting and part-time jobs, and jobs in promising and growth industries, providing 3-month internship opportunities to 100 people, and newly supports subscription to the four major insurance policies.

The Woman Up Employment Incentive is a subsidy of KRW 1 million per month (total KRW 3 million) for 3 months for companies that hire internship participants as full-time employees (or with employment contracts for more than 1 year) so that they can work stably at the company even after the internship ends. There are approximately 240,000 women with career experience in Seoul, and 86% of them are women in their 30s and 40s. In major developed countries, women work steadily when they are young and then retire in their 50s, while in Korea, women work in their 20s, quit their jobs in their 30s due to pregnancy or childbirth, and start working again when their children grow up to a certain level. This stands out.
Accordingly, the city of Seoul piloted the “Woman Up Internship” for about a year and achieved some results, such as 49 people succeeding in re-employment.
We believe that further improvement is needed in areas such as low completion rates such as dropouts, mismatching of employment rates and jobs, and linking jobs that enable work-life balance, and announced that we will provide comprehensive support from job search to employment and employment stability through business reorganization, and launched the “Seoul Woman Up Project.” It started to be new.
