Recently, most middle-aged people have been vaccinated, and the situation is gradually improving, but it seems that there are still quite a few middle school and high school students across the country who are taking online classes. At this time, in order to conduct these online classes smoothly, each textbook company provides textbook PDF files specifically for these students. Among them, let’s learn about how to receive a PDF of an emergency textbook based on the school where you are studying.
This can be downloaded from the Viva Sam website (direct link). When you enter here, you will first see a pop-up asking for learning materials support for online classes. Here you can see learning materials for elementary/middle school/high school standards. Among these, please select an e-book based on your teacher’s criteria and for the class you are currently teaching.
If you select one, you will be asked to choose between elementary school/middle school/high school on the next page. At this time, only school students can download and use it, and when using it, you must leave a source called ‘Emergency Education’ and it must be deleted when the school returns to normal.
Instead, you can’t just get it right away; you’ll need to log in to your account. You can check this by pressing the ‘Login’ button in the upper right corner of the Viva Sam initial screen. At this time, if you do not have a separate account, please create a new one by clicking the ‘Sign up’ button at the bottom right. Please note that only ‘teachers’ can create this account.
At this time, there may be some people who want to open the pop-up window separately because it does not open. You can see this by going to the notice menu. Announcements can be viewed by clicking ‘Customer Center’ in the menu at the top.
And if you turn to page 10 or 11, you will see text that says ‘Emergency Textbook E-book Usage Guide’. After clicking on it, you will be able to access it on the next page.
