[Gangwon= Reporter Yeom No-seop] Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province (Governor Kim Jin-tae) and Gangwon Tourism Foundation (CEO Choi Seong-hyeon, hereinafter referred to as the Foundation) operated the ‘Ocean Healing Beach Yoga’ program at Ocean Two You Resort and Sampo Beach in Goseong-gun on Saturday, November 16.
Sampo Beach, where this program took place, is famous for its quiet and wide white sand beach, and is a popular tourist attraction for families.
About 100 participants experienced beach yoga at Sampo Beach, and after the event, they walked barefoot on the white sand beach and enjoyed the great nature of Goseong.
In particular, the participants were very satisfied with being able to experience yoga and meditation while listening to the sounds of the ocean at Goseong Sampo Beach.
Many people also took photos of special moments to take their profile pictures.
Choi Seong-hyeon, CEO of the foundation, said, “The East Coast is rich in marine tourism resources, so it is possible to develop various linked tourism products,” and added, “We will actively develop marine tourism products with the opening of the Gangwon Tourism Foundation’s Marine Center.”
