[Episode 246] Ryu Su-young – ‘Squid Salad’ Recipe
■ Cooking Ingredients
Preparation: 2 frozen squids, 1/2 radish, 1 bunch of water parsley, 5T vinegar, 2T sugar, 3 pinches seasoned salt, 2T sesame seeds, 100g noodles
[Seasoning] 4T red pepper powder, 4T sugar, 4T sesame oil, 3T brewed soy sauce, 3T vinegar, 2T red pepper paste, 2T pickled radish greens, 1T ketchup, 1T anchovy sauce
※ Use the green part of the radish!
■ How to make
[Pickled radish]
1. Cut 1/2 radish into strips.
2. In a bowl, mix the sliced radish, 5T vinegar, 2T sugar, and 3 pinches seasoned salt, and place in the refrigerator to marinate for more than 30 minutes.
※ After 15 minutes, turn over once to marinate evenly!
[Squid salad]
1. Cut the stems of 1 bunch of water parsley into 3~4cm lengths.
2. Wash the prepared frozen squid with water, cut in half, and slice thinly.
※ It will be easier to slice if you slice it with the skin facing up!
3. Pour 50ml of water into a pan and boil it over high heat,
When the water boils, add the prepared squid, cover, cook for 1 minute, and rinse with cold water.
4. In a bowl, mix 4T of red pepper powder, 4T of sugar, 4T of sesame oil, 3T of soy sauce, 3T of vinegar,
2T of gochujang, 2T of pickled radish, 1T of ketchup, and 1T of anchovy sauce to make a seasoning sauce. 5. Add boiled squid, pickled radish, water parsley stems, 2T sesame seeds, and 7T seasoning sauce to a bowl and mix.
6. Boil water in a pan, add 100g of noodles, boil for 2 minutes and 30 seconds, and rinse in cold water.
7. Put noodles and marinated squid in a bowl, sprinkle sesame seeds, and it’s done!

[Episode 246] Ryu Su-young – ‘1000 Won Perilla Leaf Pancake’ Recipe
■ Cooking Ingredients
10 perilla leaves, 1 cup pancake mix, 1 cup + 2T cold water, 3 pinches salt, cooking oil
■ How to make
0. Prepare ingredients
1) Wash 10 perilla leaves in water and dry them.
※ You must thoroughly remove the moisture so that the dough does not separate! 1. Mix 1 cup of tempura flour, 1 cup + 2T of cold water, and 3 pinches of salt in a bowl to make a dough.
※ Adjust to the consistency of plain yogurt!
※ You can leave the unmixed lumps of tempura flour as is!
2. Pour a generous amount of oil into a preheated pan and reduce the heat to medium once the oil is heated.
※ Cover generously enough to submerge the perilla leaves!
3. Coat the perilla leaves evenly with the batter and place them on the pan and fry for 3 minutes.
※ Don’t cut the tops of the perilla leaves so they’re easy to flip!
※ The batter may separate, so don’t flip them over for 1 minute and 30 seconds after placing them on the pan!
