How to view and issue elementary, middle, and high school life record books
1. Search for life record book in the civil service application/guidance section of the Government 24 website
You can issue elementary, middle, and high school life record books on the Government 24 website. Both members and non-members can use it, and you can use it after logging in with simple authentication or a joint or financial certificate.

To view your life record book, search for life record book in the civil service application guidance menu. Since NICE service is only available to current students, graduates use the Government 24 website.
Click the Issue button for School Life Record Book (Elementary, Middle, and High School).

The application process for elementary, middle, and high school student record books is simple. Click on the school search button, select the local education office where the school belongs, enter the school name, and search.

For example, in the case of Yongsan Elementary School in Seoul, select the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education, the education office where the elementary school belongs, enter the school name, and select the school that corresponds to the elementary school I graduated from among the results.
If it is a simple inquiry or you have a printer connected at home, select Online Issuance in the receipt method.
Now, you can view the student record you applied for in My Application History after about an hour.

Eligibility for checking life record
However, not everyone can check the life record online. Life record check is available for those who graduated after January 2003. In addition, those who graduated before January 2003 can receive the life record from the Office of Education or the administrative office of a nearby school. (Kindergarten records cannot be issued.)
Isn’t it simpler than you think? For a while, it was popular to view one’s own life record, and they said it was to regain lost self-esteem.
In the past, online issuance was not possible, so whenever necessary, you had to visit the administrative office of a nearby school to receive it, but these days, all life records for elementary, middle, and high school and college entrance exams can be issued online, so it seems much more convenient.
However, for university transcripts, you can only apply online at each university or through Government 24, and you must visit the administrative welfare center.
