CU Economical Delivery’s price for items exceeding 500g but not exceeding 1kg is 2,100 won, making it the cheapest delivery rate in Korea. The remaining sections are also 1,800 won for items under 500g and 2,700 won for items over 1kg, which is half the price of regular delivery.
Looking at the usage status of parcels by weight last year, those under 500g accounted for the largest share of usage at 63% of the total. The usage rate of low weight was overwhelmingly high, with 21% exceeding 500g and less than 1kg, and 16% exceeding 1kg.
CU reflected the consumer demands of these customers and lowered the burden on consumers by setting the lowest fares for two categories: 500g or less and 1kg or less.
