국민취업지원제도 2유형National Employment Support System
The National Employment Support System is a system that provides comprehensive employment support services to those seeking employment and provides minimum income for livelihood to low-income job seekers.
The ‘National Employment Support System’, which was first introduced in 2021, will significantly expand the scale of support for low-income people and young people starting this year, marking its second year of implementation, to support a total of 600,000 people.
The Employment Welfare Plus Center provides related employment support services and allowances (costs) to those who meet the qualifications for participating in the National Employment Support System. If you are interested, please see the qualifications below.
There are two types of support in the National Employment Support System depending on the ‘income’ and ‘property’ of the participant.
It focuses on people who have less than 60% of the household median income, less than 400 million won in assets, and have had more than 100 days or 800 hours of employment experience within the past two years.
Type II is eligible for support for specific classes, young people, middle-aged people, etc. that do not fall under Type I.
National Employment Support System Type I receives ‘employment promotion allowance’ and ‘employment support service’.
National Employment Support System Type II provides ‘employment activity expenses’ and ‘employment support services’.
During the period of participation in vocational training, an allowance (up to 284,000 won per month) is provided for up to 6 months to ease the burden of livelihood.
Participants and their counterparts at the employment center identify each individual’s difficulties in employment through in-depth counseling and mutual consultation, and then establish an employment activity plan based on employment abilities. Based on this, the employment center provides various employment support services such as vocational training necessary for employment, work experience, welfare service connection, and job introduction, and supports participants’ job search activities.
