Jeonse deposit insurance, in which the guarantor returns the deposit in case the landlord does not receive the deposit on time.
Currently, even if the jeonse deposit accounts for 100% of the house price, you can sign up for the guarantee insurance.
For this reason, charter fraud is prevalent in which tenants are reassured on the grounds that they can sign up for guarantee insurance, then sign a global contract at a high price and steal the deposit.
From now on, only houses where the jeonse deposit is 90% or less of the house price will be changed to be eligible for guarantee insurance.
If the jeonse rate is lowered to 90%, the government judges that it is difficult to buy a house for 300 million won and at the same time pay a 300 million won jeonse for a non-capital gap investment fraud method that takes away the deposit.

There are currently about 200 temporary shelters for victims who have lost their homes due to charter fraud, and more than 500 are expected to increase in the first half of the year, mainly in the metropolitan area.
