Homeless young people aged 19 to 34 who live separately from their parents.
All requirements for a young household and original household must be met.

Unmarried young college students living alone also belong to young households, and young people (19 to 34 years old) who live with their spouses also belong to young households. All must have assets below 60% of the standard median income and below 122 million won.
The original household must meet the standards for income and assets, including the youth’s household and the youth’s parents.
However, if you are over 30 years old, married, unmarried, or have an income of more than 50% of the median income (KRW 1.11 million per person per month) and live differently from your parents, only the income and assets of the young adult household are checked.
The residency requirement has been abolished.
However, even if the monthly rent exceeds 700,000 won, support is available if the sum of the deposit converted into monthly rent (5.5% conversion rate) and monthly rent is less than 900,000 won.
You must be a subscriber to a subscription account and have a history of paying at least 20,000 won.
Up to 200,000 won per month will be paid over a period of up to 12 months.
※ If you apply for the youth monthly rent special support system and receive monthly rent support, and you change your place of residence on your resident registration for reasons such as moving, support will be temporarily suspended. However, if the relocated residence meets the requirements for special support for monthly rent for young people and a change application is made, support will be resumed.
The application period for youth monthly rent special support begins on February 26, 2024, and applications can be made at any time for one year. However, please note that it may close early due to budget exhaustion. The project implementation period is until December 2026, so even if you apply in February 2025 (the last application period), you can continue to receive monthly rent support.
