전국 자전거도로Bicycle: A bicycle means a vehicle with two or more wheels equipped with a driving device, a steering device, and a braking device that is moved by human power using pedals or hand pedals, and has a size and structure prescribed by Ordinance of the Ministry of Public Administration and Security. (Act on Vitalization of Bicycle Use Article 2, Subparagraph 1)
Bicycle-only road: A bicycle road that is separated from roads and sidewalks by separators, boundary stones, and other similar facilities so that only bicycles and personal mobility devices (hereinafter referred to as “bicycles”) pursuant to Article 2, Subparagraph 19-2 of the Road Traffic Act can pass (Article 3, Subparagraph 1 of the Act on the Promotion of Bicycle Use)
Roads for bicycles and pedestrians: Bicycle roads that are separated from roads or installed separately by separators, boundary stones, and other similar facilities so that pedestrians can pass in addition to bicycles (Act on Vitalization of Bicycle Use, Article 3, Subparagraph 2)
Bicycle-only lanes: Lanes and safety signs or road markings to allow only bicycles to pass on a certain part of the roadway, and are separated from lanes where other vehicles pass (Article 3, Subparagraph 3 of the Act on Vitalization of Bicycle Use)
Bicycle priority road: A bicycle road installed with road markings on the road so that bicycles and other vehicles can pass safely by setting some sections and lanes of the road where the vehicle traffic volume is less than the standard set by the Presidential Decree (Article 3, Subparagraph 4 of the Act on the Promotion of Bicycle Use)
