Recently, the AirPod Pro I purchased broke down and I had to take it to a service center.
Fortunately, the one-year warranty period is around early December 2023, so I’m trying to apply in a hurry, but it asks me to enter my serial number to make a reservation.
I think there are people, including me, who are curious about how to make a reservation at an Apple service center, so I would like to make a reservation and tell you how to do it.
1. First, enter Apple Service Center into the Naver search box.
Please select the authorized service center address below.
2. Select ‘Customer Support > Repair’ on the Apple authorized site.
3. Click ‘Start Repair’.
4. If the device is registered in your account, select the device in ‘My Device’. If not, click ‘Enter Serial Number’.
As you can see below, you can see all previously registered devices.
Among these, there is no AirPod Pro that I am trying to repair.
So I clicked ‘Enter Serial Number’ in blue letters at the bottom.
If you don’t know where your serial number is, click the link next to ‘How to find your serial number’.
In the case of my AirPod Pro, it is marked as Serial on the inside of the AirPod cover. (I don’t know where the product box is. ㅠ)

5. Enter the serial number, select the problem, and click ‘Continue’.
If you select the problematic item, the blue ‘Continue’ button below will be activated. Then you can move on to the next step.
If there is no information that applies, you can click ‘More’ and enter the problem directly.
My problem is that the noise canceling function does not work. It seems that the AirPods to which noise cancellation is applied are not recognized when connected.
So I chose ‘Audio and Sound’.
6. Click ‘Schedule Repair’.
Since I was sending the repair to a service center, I skipped solving the problem on my own.
If paid repairs are required after the compensation period, the repair and replacement prices are so high that it may be better to purchase a new product rather than undergo repairs, so it would be a good idea to check the estimated estimate in advance.
7. When you click ‘Reserve Repair’, you can select the desired location and select the available date and time as shown in the screen below.
The store location and address are also detailed.
It seems really convenient. There is no chance of going to the wrong place.
Once your reservation is complete, you will receive a reservation information text message. If you want to cancel, simply press ‘1’.
It’s also nice that you can cancel right away without having to call.
I made a reservation like this and plan to go for repairs tomorrow afternoon.
If you have to send the repair to a service center, you can proceed like I did and make an appointment.
