Basically, SoCar can be rented in 10-minute increments, with a minimum fee of 30 minutes. Rental rates are operated on a flexible rate system depending on conditions such as vehicle type, region/Soca zone, day/time, and peak/off-peak season, so they may vary depending on reservation conditions. Driving fees are charged based on the actual mileage when returning the vehicle, and a separate driving fee per km is applied depending on the mileage section. Rental fees and driving fees may change depending on our internal policies/oil price changes. When using additional services such as calling, a separate fee is charged taking into account the cost of returning the vehicle. Extension fees are applied separately from the rental fee.

Methods of use and restrictions
In the case of Socar, reservations can be made through a smartphone app, and a driver’s license and payment card are required to sign up. And basically, the age limit is 21 years or older and it can be used from 1 year or more after obtaining a driver’s license.
The full usage instructions are as follows.
1. Sign up: Download the SoCar app on your smartphone and register your car driver’s license and payment card.
2. Make a reservation: Set the usage time and select the location where you need a vehicle and the type of vehicle you want. You can make a reservation at a nearby Soca Zone or call Soca in front of your house. Here, calling Soka may incur a separate cost.
3. Find vehicle: Check the detailed information of the Socar zone where the vehicle is parked on the Socar app. You can find SoCar more easily by turning on the emergency lights or sounding the horn with the smart key within the Socar app.
4. How to use: Before boarding, you can check the vehicle’s condition, including exterior, interior, and oil level, and easily open and close the vehicle door with the smart key in the Socar app.
5. Returning: Park in the designated location and check that nothing has been left behind in the vehicle. After locking the car door, press the return button to complete use.
