After preparing your ID, bankbook, and stamp, you can sign up for or cancel a savings account by visiting the nearest Shinhan Bank branch.

New deposits made online or at branches will be automatically canceled and the cancellation amount and interest will be deposited to the account from which the deposit was withdrawn at the time of maturity, unless there is a reason to restrict payment.

If you want to sign up for a new savings/trust account online, you must first sign up for Internet banking. There are two ways to do this.

Shinhan Bank currency exchange

Shinhan Bank provides a convenient internet currency exchange service. If you are not subscribed to internet banking, internet currency exchange is not possible, so if you want to use internet currency exchange, please visit a nearby branch and sign up for internet banking.

When you visit the reception counter, you will need your ID card and exchange number. When receiving through an ATM, you will need a cash card with deposit and withdrawal functions in the name of the person applying for the exchange.
