He is responsible for confirming damage facts related to crop disaster insurance and evaluating the insurance value and damage amount in accordance with the Agricultural and Fishery Accident Insurance Act. In implementing the agricultural disaster insurance system, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs introduced a loss assessor qualification system to secure trust in damage assessment as well as to conduct quick, accurate and professional damage assessment in the event of a disaster. There are no restrictions on qualifications, so you can apply regardless of education, experience, major, or age. The exam is conducted in 1st and 2nd rounds. The first round is a multiple-choice, 4-choice type, covering the insurance section of the Commercial Act, the Agricultural and Fishery Accident Insurance Act (the Agricultural and Fishery Accident Insurance Act, the Enforcement Decree of the Agricultural and Fishery Accident Insurance Act, and damage assessment guidelines notified by the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs), and cultivation studies and In the 3 subjects ‘Horticulture and Crop Science’, you will take a total of 75 questions, 25 per subject, for 90 minutes. The second test is short answer and descriptive, and consists of two subjects: ‘Theory and Practice of Crop Accident Insurance and Livestock Accident Insurance, and the Theory and Practice of Crop Accident Insurance and Livestock Accident Insurance Damage Evaluation’ and is conducted for 120 minutes with 10 questions per subject. A perfect score of 100 is given for both the 1st and 2nd rounds, and a score of 40 or more in each subject and an average of 60 or more in all subjects is required to be considered a successful candidate. The 2023 Loss Appraiser Exam will be held for the 9th time, and the first application period will be May 8. ~5/12, additional applications for vacant seats will be held from 6/1 to 6/2. The first written test date is Saturday, June 10th, and the results will be announced on Wednesday, July 12th. The 2nd application submission is from 7/24 to 7/28, the additional application is from 8/24 to 8/25, the 2nd test date is 9/2 (Sat), and the final results of successful applicants will be announced on 11/22 (Wed).
