’21: 196,749 cases
’22: 232,823 cases
The industrial complex
This year, 5,000 people will be recruited through the traffic safety public interest system.
We plan to continue operating it.
To encourage activity
Rewards are paid for public interest reports.
The reward is
Violation of road traffic laws (4 items including driving on sidewalks) 4,000 won
Serious traffic violation (violation of traffic signals, violation of center line) 8,000 won
Violation of the Automobile Management Act (covering or damaging the license plate) KRW 6,000, etc.
Payments are made separately for each reported item.
In addition, starting from the second half of this year,

Vehicles on the crosswalk
Pedestrian protection violations
It will be added to the reporting items.
