Introducing Level 3 and Level 4 authentication methods.

Level 1 email authentication
Level 2 mobile phone verification has been completed.
The 3rd level of Upbit’s security level is account verification for deposits and withdrawals.
Currently, only K-Bank accounts can be verified.
But I don’t have a K-Bank account…

We proceed with the account opening non-face-to-face.
Currently in K-Bank
When you open an account by visiting a link recommended by a friend

I got a K-Bank link from a friend who was introduced to Upbit and opened a non-face-to-face account.

If you have created a K-Bank account
Upbit security level 3-step verification will be done again.
First, check and agree to the precautions
You must enter your K-Bank account to receive an account verification number.
To the K-Bank account that I entered
1 won comes in with the name of the depositor upbit
Enter the 3 digits written in front of Upbit
Just certify!!
And you have to do ARS certification as well.
If you press ARS authentication call request, you will receive a call.
After the beep after hearing the phone to the end
You must enter the verification code.
Then, Upbit security level level 3 authentication is completed!!! no see.
Immediately, an additional authentication notification for 2 channels with security level 4 appears.
I guess I have to use Kakao Pay for additional 2-channel authentication.
When you press Go, the Kakao Pay simple authentication screen appears and you can click Activate authentication.
Then, KakaoTalk activates simple authentication on Kakao Pay.
Click OK to confirm Kakao Pay certificate

The Kakao Pay certificate must be reissued if the password is incorrect 5 times.
Then we will reissue the Kakao Pay certificate.

• Check your financial life at a glance and securely authenticate important documents as well as payment of various utility bills.
• Bills, documents, etc. can be viewed in the document box of Kakao Pay.
• You can check the National Pension Service’s National Pension Enrollment Statement, the Military Manpower Administration’s enlistment notice, and various tax related notices from the National Tax Service.
• It can be used as a simple login at various sites, and you can also find your ID and password (re-registration).
• As of December 20, 2020, there are 540,412 Kakao Pay users.
■ How to issue a Kakao Pay certificate
(1) ❶ Run KakaoTalk app
(2) In the KakaoTalk app, at the bottom right ❷[…] ]View more
(3) Tap the menu icon ❸“Assets” or ❸“pay ○won”.
(4) Select ❹“Service” from [Home], [Asset Management], [Benefits], and [Services] at the top and slide the screen up to enter ❺“Authentication” in the [Electronic Document] menu in the middle.
If there is a previously issued certificate, the certificate will appear.
(5) Click ❻[+] in “Issuing a certificate”
(6) “Oh wait!” Mobile phone verification on the screen (Enter the first 6 digits and the last 1 digits of your name and social security number)
(7) Select a registered carrier
When you select a carrier, the carrier and mobile phone number are automatically entered.
(8) Scroll up and click “Request Verification Number”, then “I agree to all terms and conditions of identity verification” and press OK.
(9) A 6-digit mobile phone verification verification code message from Kakao Pay appears at the top of the screen.
(10) The mobile phone verification verification code is automatically entered, so just click “OK”.
(11) Once the identity verification is complete, the account verification process through the bank account proceeds.
In order to receive a KakaoTalk certificate, you need a mobile phone and bank account in your name.
After selecting the bank or brokerage you use, enter your account number and click Request Verification to proceed with the verification process.
(12) Account Verification
Kakao Pay deposits KRW 1 into the account you entered to verify that it is your account.
Click OK in “I sent 1 won to verify my account”.
The name of the depositor ‘yellow watermelon + 1 won’ on the screen below is an example of Kakao. Be sure to check and enter the name of the depositor in your bankbook transaction history.
(13) For account verification, 4 letters of the name of the depositor and 1 won will be transferred from Kakao to the bank account. Be sure to check and enter the name of the depositor (4 letters).
(14) Enter the 4 letters of the name of the depositor of 1 won in the transaction history of the account.
The above screenshot is when the deposit was received twice. Enter the name of the depositor of the most recent transaction date.
The name of the depositor is the 4 letter name of the depositor of 1 won that Kakao deposited by accessing Internet banking (or mobile banking). The name of the depositor is indicated in the ‘Summary’ column.
If the depositor name is entered incorrectly, tap ‘Stop’ and come back to start again from ‘Issuing Certificate’.
(15) Certificate password registration
On the pay authentication screen, ‘Register certificate password’ (8 to 15 digits).
The certificate password is a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters, and is 8 to 15 digits long.
(16) Enter ‘one more time’ to go through the two-step verification process.
(17) Certificate
Click OK in “Certificate issuance is complete”. The certificate is valid for 2 years.
The issued Kakao Pay certificate goes back to the beginning and goes back to the Kakao Talk app ▶ bottom right […] ]More tab ▶ “Assets” or “Pay ○won” ▶ Select “Service” and slide the screen up to check it through [Electronic Document] ▶ “Authentication” menu in the middle.
(18) Arrival of Notification Talk
When the certificate password registration is completed, the certificate is issued and a notification message will arrive stating that the certificate has been issued by Kakao Pay.
• Check only mandatory agreements, excluding selections from agreements such as terms and conditions.
• Account registration is possible only when the real name on which the mobile phone user was authenticated and the real name registered in the account match.
• Account verification is not possible during lunch on each bank’s server.
• It may not be possible to link accounts such as lifetime account numbers, virtual accounts, securities, funds, savings accounts, and term deposits.
(19) You can check the usage history in ‘Certificate Usage History’.
(20) In [Easy Login], you can easily register by checking the box to agree to the provision of personal information to third parties (required) to the institution registered in ‘Use of Simple Login’ and tapping ‘Register Certificate’.
To disconnect previously linked information

You can disconnect the link with the selected user by clicking on the simple login application or clicking ‘Connect’.
■ Deleting Kakao Pay Certificate
(1) Run KakaoTalk app
(2) In the KakaoTalk app, at the bottom right […] ]More tab
(3) Tap the menu icon “Assets” or “Pay ○ Won”.
(4) Select “Service” from among [Home], [Asset Management], [Benefits], and [Services] at the top and slide the screen up to enter “Authentication” in the [Electronic Document] menu in the middle.
(5) Click Delete from Certificate.
