I decided to start by measuring how fast the LG U+ internet speed is. This is Uplus 100MB Internet, and the speed measurements are from a site called NIA and fast.com.

When measuring LG U+’s internet speed, we focused on whether the speed was close to 100 Mbps and whether the internet download and upload speeds were symmetrical or asymmetric.

When you go to a site called Nia, you will see an icon called Internet Speed in the upper left corner. Here you can measure the speed of the internet you are using. This site requires an Internet speed measurement program to be installed.

Install the program before measuring Uplus Internet speed. There is no burden to install the program because there are no separate advertisements or links to pop-up sites.
For those who are reluctant to install the program, we recommend that you install it for a while, measure LG Internet speed, and then delete it immediately.
How to measure LG U+ internet speed
You can measure your internet speed right away by entering your internet service provider, internet plan, and region. If you don’t know the Internet plan you signed up for, most of them are signed up for 100MB. Even if you have been subscribed to the Internet for a long time, you are probably signed up for 100MB Internet.
LG Uplus Internet Symmetric Asymmetric Speed Measurement Method
You should check not only LG Internet, but also SK Internet and KT Internet to see if the download and upload speeds are balanced. If the Internet download and upload speeds are symmetrical, it can be considered stable and okay, but sometimes there is an asymmetry in which the Internet download speed is fast but the upload speed is slow.
So, before signing up for the Internet, you must check whether it is a symmetrical Internet or an asymmetric Internet. In the case of my office Internet, the Internet speed is measured close to 100Mbps, and download and upload are symmetrical. The ping is also not that high, showing fast speeds.

Measure Uplus internet speed at fast.com
You can easily check your Internet speed at the site address Fast.com without installing a program. Although there is a slight error here, it is possible to measure internet speed easily and quickly.
The upload speed is 95 Mpbs, similar to the Nia site.
How to measure LG U+ internet speed, Fast.com
Fast.com shows similar figures for U+’s internet download speed, but the upload speed is measured slightly lower. There is no significant difference in ping (latency).
In the past, it was inconvenient because the U+ internet was frequently disconnected, but I changed the router twice and am now using it with great satisfaction. It shows a slightly better performance than the SK Internet measured at home.
