The Tomorrow Learning Card is a system in which the government supports the cost of vocational skills development for all citizens, with a basic amount of KRW 3 million to a maximum of KRW 5 million for 5 years. Young people preparing for their first job, office workers who want to improve their work skills, and job seekers who want to develop their skills for changing jobs or re-employment, don’t miss the opportunity to attend the academy for free!

Tomorrow Learning Card application eligibility and support target
The scope of support for the Tomorrow Learning Card has recently been expanded, so anyone under the age of 75 can apply. If I had known this when I was in school, I think it would have been of great help when preparing for a job. In the past, only those expected to graduate from college could apply, but now college students with less than two years of classes left until graduation can also apply. High school students can also apply if they are in their senior year of high school and are expected to graduate.
✔Eligibility: Any citizen of the Republic of Korea can apply
✔Term: 5 years after card issuance
✔Subsidy: Basic 3 million won ~ up to 5 million won
Anyone can apply, but there are some exclusions, so check below. Self-employed people can also apply as long as they do not exceed the annual sales standard, and even if their monthly wages exceed 3 million won, they can still receive support depending on the company they work for, so if it seems unclear, I recommend applying first.
✔Information on those excluded from support
– Current public officials, private school faculty and staff
– Age 75 or older
– If you are a college student or high school student who is not in your expected graduation year
– Self-employed people with annual sales of 150 million won or more
– Special type workers with a monthly wage of 3 million won or more
– Employees of large-scale companies with a monthly wage of 3 million won or more and under the age of 45
Can I apply while working part-time?
People who are looking for a job often look for the Tomorrow Learning Card, but you can also apply for the Tomorrow Learning Card while working part-time.
But your training schedule and part-time work schedule shouldn’t overlap, right? When I was taking academy classes for 6 months, I didn’t have enough living expenses because I worked at a company, so I took academy classes on weekdays and worked part-time only on weekends.
In addition, if you are employed at a large company with a salary of more than 3 million won per month, you cannot apply for the Tomorrow Learning Card. Current employees can apply depending on their income level. Self-employed people can also apply if their annual sales are less than 150 million won.
The best way is to consult at an employment center. If you visit an employment center near your home or consult with them over the phone, they will be able to advise you.

Tomorrow Learning Card Subsidy
Even if you just want to attend an academy for a month, the cost is well over 200,000 to 300,000 won, so even if you’re an office worker, it’s a burden. I want to develop myself, but I don’t have enough money😭 If you issue and use the Tomorrow Learning Card, you can receive government subsidies up to 45-85% of the training cost you want, within the basic limit of 3 million won. Of course, there is a deductible, but you can still get at least a 45% discount, so it’s a complete advantage!
✔45-85% of training fees will be paid within the limit of 3 million won per general participant for 5 years
✔National Employment Support System Type 1 and Type 2 (low-income and other specific classes) will pay up to 80-100% of the training fee.
The training cost support rate is 45-85% for general participants, but certain groups, such as low-income people, can receive support of up to 80-100%. If it is 100%, you can receive up to 5 million won in government-funded training for free. Then, you can take academy classes worth 5 million won for free. You can’t miss it, right?
Since the training fee support rate varies greatly depending on the applicant’s income level and the company he or she works for, diagnostic consultation is provided online. Don’t worry, you can find out through consultation how much support each person can receive.
If online counseling is complicated, search for an employment center near your home and apply for counseling! I consulted and applied offline, and the counselor kindly advised me so I could listen with as little out-of-pocket cost as possible.

Thanks to this, while I was preparing to quit my job and change jobs, I took academy classes twice using the Tomorrow Learning Card, and over 6 months, I took classes worth over 3 million won for free. As a result, I am currently working as a web designer. I hope that many people will take on a new challenge in life with the Tomorrow Learning Card.
How to search for places to use the Tomorrow Learning Card
If so, you should first check what classes you can take with the Tomorrow Learning Card, right? Usually, when academies advertise, they often advertise that classes are eligible for government funding, but in such cases, you can receive government support by paying with the Tomorrow Learning Card.
Tomorrow’s learning cards cover web design, web development, game development, baking, marketing, etc.!! We support training courses in a vast range of fields, as many as the number of occupations. The classes I took included a pastry and pastry technician class and a 6-month web design course.
Some training requires you to go to an academy for a long period of time, such as 6 months, but these days, online training classes such as Fast Campus are also supported. In particular, for web development and design, we provide many lectures that can be taken online at home, so if you are interested, please take note.
Additionally, you can check the list of classes or training courses that can receive government support with the Tomorrow Learning Card on a site operated by the Ministry of Employment and Labor called HRD-NET.

I will tell you how to search for where to use the Tomorrow Learning Card.
01. Sign up for HRD-NET site
02. After logging in, click Training Course > National Tomorrow Learning Card Training Course at the top of the site.
03. Search for the training institution you want
If you need to go to an offline academy to learn training, selecting a region is essential. Also, the training start date is important, so select it and search by entering keywords for the field you want to learn, and all the training you can take will appear.
For example, if you want to learn about video editing, enter video editing as a search keyword and search.
Then, a video editing training program recruiting students will appear as shown above. Can you see the View Out-of-Pocket Amount button below the amount? Click on it to find out how much you have to pay. Also, if you click on training, you can find out detailed curriculum, training period, and timetable. Training that is listed as distance training can be taken remotely from home.
You can find information on academies that provide government funding in the field you want at HRD-NET, and if there is training you want, you can apply for a Tomorrow Learning Card. It’s also a good idea to go to the academy you want and get a consultation in advance! Because you can know in advance what you need to prepare and how much it will cost.

How to use the Tomorrow Learning Card
The method you use will depend on the training you wish to take. If you want to receive education at an offline academy for half a year to a year, you can first consult with the academy where you want to receive education and find out if you can use the government subsidy card.
The cost is expensive, ranging from 5 million won to 10 million won, and the training period is about 6 months to 1 year, so most of the training is for employment. For example, the reason the government spends so much time and money on web development education to support training is to increase the employment rate. Therefore, for students whose goal is not to get a job, the academy does not tend to accept applications for government support from the beginning.
Instead, the training time is short, and among self-development training that is not aimed at employment, training that can be taught remotely can be easily applied for online. After issuing the Tomorrow Learning Card, search for the training you want on HRD-NET.
Please click the course registration button and register for the course. Basic information, etc.
