You can’t leave out your beloved dogs on a family trip. Today, we’ve prepared the ‘Best 3 Gangneung pet-friendly accommodations & restaurants’. We’ve listed them by region, including Gyeongpo Beach, Jeongdongjin, and Daegwallyeong, so choose according to your taste and travel course.
Memilgol Donghae Makguksu is a Gangneung restaurant with a 40-year tradition. There are several branches, but I recommend the Gangmun branch where you can enjoy a meal with an ocean view! They have a separate pet-friendly floor, so you can dine comfortably.

Solhyang Daegae is a place where you can taste the best Russian crab and king crab! Not only is the facility clean, but pets are also allowed, which is attractive. I recommend it because the crabs are well-prepared and easy to eat.

Happy Mong Pension is a pet-friendly accommodation in Gangneung where you can have a comfortable rest. Let’s enjoy the beautiful mountain view and healing away from the stress of noise. Daegwallyeong Sheep Ranch and Gangmun Beach are also 30 minutes away.
It is located in the mountains where you can feel the clean nature of Gangwon-do. There are two types of rooms: single-story and duplex.
Danmi Room is a single-story room that can accommodate 2 to 3 people. The bedroom and living room are separate. Cooking is also possible in the room. Small dogs weighing less than 10 kg are allowed, and there is an admission fee of 10,000 won per dog.
Amenities include shampoo, body wash, toothpaste, and soap. Depending on the room, there is a bathtub in the bathroom. As expected from a Gangneung pet-friendly pension, pee pads are also provided, so you don’t have to bring them separately.
You can also enjoy delicious barbecue at Happy Mong Pension. They use oak charcoal with good heat. There are two barbecue areas, one in front of the valley and one indoors. The usage fee is 10,000 won for 2 people / +5,000 won for each additional person.
Check-in is from 3 PM and check-out is until 11 AM. There is a large yard and valley right in front of the pension. It is also close to sections 3 and 4 of Baugil, so it is good for trekking.
There is also a large dog park, so children can run around freely. There is also a fence, so there is no need to worry.

Nine One Pension is a Gangneung pet-friendly accommodation with a great location. It is located 5 minutes away from Gyeongpo Beach, making it a great place to travel. Memilgol Donghae Makguksu Gangmun Branch and Solhyang Daegae are also 8 minutes away.
It is popular for its modern interior and clean facilities. B-dong 3-ho has a duplex structure and can accommodate up to 4 people. Nine One Pension allows pets in most rooms.
For companion dogs, there is an admission fee of 10,000 won for dogs under 10 kg and 20,000 won for dogs over 10 kg. Up to 2 dogs are allowed, and consultation is required for large dogs. Cats are also allowed, but there is an additional fee of 10,000 won.
Amenities include shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Unfortunately, pet supplies are not provided.
All rooms have individual decks. It is perfect for a private barbecue party. When using the charcoal grill, 20,000 won for 2 people / 5,000 won for each additional person is added. In case of rain, you can also rent a Zigle. The Zigle is available for 15,000 won for 2 to 3 people / 20,000 won for more than 4 people.
There is a large grass field, swings, and a bench, so you can have fun with your pet. Sandpine Golf Club is 1 minute away from the pension. Check-in is from 5:00 PM and check-out is until 11:00 AM. Pick-up from Gyeongpo Beach is also available.

Gianni Pension is located in Jeongdongjin, making it a great place to watch the sunrise. It is adjacent to tourist attractions such as Jeongdongjin Beach and Hourglass Park, so you can walk there.
You can use all floors of Gianni Pension from the 1st to the 3rd floor. It is highly recommended for those who want convenience and private time.
Buildings C and D are operated exclusively for pets. Small dogs, cats, and other pets are allowed. There is an admission fee of 10,000 won per pet.
There are two bathrooms, one on the 1st and 2nd floors. Amenities include shampoo, body wash, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. In the rooms, there are also pee pads and dishes for pets. There is also a fence, so it is safe.
Private individual barbecues are also available on the rooftop. A fee of 20,000 won is charged per use.
A jet spa is also installed on the rooftop. Depending on the room, you can enjoy an open view such as an ocean view or a mountain view! It is available in all seasons except winter when freezing is frequent.
There is also a garden where you can run around freely with your beloved pet. Check-in is from 3 PM and check-out is until 11 AM.
