Family care leave subsidy refers to the subsidy paid to workers who have applied for care leave because daycare centers, kindergartens, and schools need to take care of their children or take care of their family due to the postponement of school closures, school closures, and schools due to COVID-19.
There are two ways to apply for family care leave as an emergency response system implemented by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.

A maximum of 50,000 won per day and a maximum of 10 days of subsidies are provided to workers who have applied for care leave.
If a workplace provides paid family care leave, additional government subsidies cannot be received, and non-employees are excluded.
For reference, part-time workers are paid in proportion to their working hours, and if they work less than 20 hours a week, 25,000 won per day is paid.
First, you need to apply for family care leave at your workplace, and then apply for subsidies. Subsidies cannot be applied for prior to applying for leave.
The application period is from March 21, 2022 to December 16, 2022, but if the budget is exhausted before then, it may close early, so please refer to it.
The support fund must be applied for within 60 days after the end of the COVID-19 situation, and if false documents are submitted, it will be determined as unjust enrichment and the support fund must be returned.
